Bead Time is an offline bead-pattern tool. The app does not require an account and contains no advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. It does not upload photos, patterns, material lists, or usage records to the developer's servers.
Photo Processing
Images you actively choose through Apple's system photo picker are used only on your device to create bead patterns. If Smart Background Removal is enabled, the app uses Apple Vision on your device to identify and protect the main subject; neither the photo nor its mask is sent to a server. The app stores a separate compressed preview in its private app container. Content leaves your device only when you intentionally use the system share sheet.
Local Storage and Retention
Project metadata, patterns, compressed previews, and progress are stored in the app container until you delete a project, delete all projects in Settings and Privacy, or uninstall the app. You can export a local backup, PNG, or PDF at any time.
Permissions and Controls
The app uses Apple's system photo picker, so you can provide only the photos you select. When you explicitly choose Save PNG to Photos, the app requests add-only access to place the exported image in your photo library; it does not use that permission to read your library. Sharing is always initiated by you and handled by the iOS share sheet and the destination you select.
Children and Sensitive Information
The app is not designed to collect children's personal information and does not ask for names, contact details, or other sensitive information.
